Why these plans?

In response to client feedback. Whether questions about search engine placement or a "plan" for updating sites, this idea has been germinating for quite some time. It really makes sense for the two issues to be "tied together" (though I'm offering some options here), as the search engines would really like to see that something has changed on your site when they crawl it, and regular submissions ensure that they continue to do so.

Plan A
Submit sites to roughly 55 U.S. based search engines.
One time hand submit to DMOZ.ORG (this one takes time and we will follow up)
Express submit to Yahoo directory (we pay the $299 to Yahoo and don't even mark it up - optional)
One hour of content update time per submission period (6 hours annually)
$959 billed annually (without Yahoo Express Submit - $660)

Plan B
Submit to all search engines and directories as outlined in Plan A as well as additional search engines and directories outlined by selfpromotion.com* (includes numerous hand submissions not included in Plan A)
Site included in Grub distributed crawling project
One hour content update time per submission period (6 hours annually)
$1209 billed annually (without Yahoo Express Submit - $910)

Plan C
Same submission plan as Plan B.
Two hours content update time per submission period (12 hours annually)
$1569 billed annually (without Yahoo Express Submit - $1270)

Plan D
Same submission plan as Plan B.
Three hours content update time per submission period (18 hours annually)
$1929 billed annually (without Yahoo Express Submit - $1630)

the fine print

All plans are billed annually on their anniversary date. Initial submission scheduled upon payment. Subsequent submissions will take place roughly every 60 days. When submission is made, a list of where the site has been submitted will be sent to the site contact along with the next scheduled submission date

Email notices will be sent at weeks 4 and 6 if budgeted update hours for the 2 month period have not been met. Content must be submitted no later than ONE WEEK PRIOR to your next scheduled submission date. Unused update time may NOT be rolled over however if a site overhaul or major update takes place during the period, your update plan hours will be used as credit.

These plans are only available to webkewl web site design clients. Note that inclusion in the Yahoo Directory is not guaranteed even with purchase of Express Submit. If we think there would be a problem with your site being included, we will make you aware of it!
